In essence we are Energy vibrating in perfect Harmony. Our powerful response to music in general is due to a Resonance built into our very Nature. When our systems become discordant we enter into a state known as inflammation, discomfort and disease. Sound healing is based on the notion that when the person is immersed in pure penetrating tones created through one channeling prayerful intention the mind and body will answer with a host of healing responses including reduced pain, a deep state of peaceful rest, intuitive visions and enhanced openness to other forms of therapy. Affected tissues return to a state of Harmony throwing off accumulated stress, relieving inflammation and returning one to an improved state of health. One of the earliest records of the effectiveness of Sound Healing is in the Old Testament wherein the Shepard David (eventually to become King David) brought his Harp and Sacred Prayers to the Royal Court thus healing the insomnia and distress of King Saul.
