Meditation Center

The meditation center at Three Trees Retreat is a perfect spot for nurturing your spirit. Many people come to Three Trees because they have heard of Sequoia's gifts as an energy channel. They come to her to heal their bodies and spirits, as Jack's music transports them to a place of unlimited compassion and Love. Through Jack's sound healing and the touch of Sequoia's healing hands, they come to a place of restored health and the release of long-held pain and suffering.

Discovering the Meditation Center
People often come to Three Trees to receive healing. Once here, they discover the natural wonders of the sacred eucalyptus and oak forest, and the welcoming embrace of the meditation center. The center at Three Trees was built in 2002, as a gathering place for the people. It was built under miraculous and fascinating circumstances.

Jack and Sequoia had decided to build a large center, to serve as a gathering place for workshops, ceremonies, group meditations and so on. Jack went in search of the best place on their property on which to build. He found an ideal spot which, unfortunately, was home to two tall, magnificent oak trees. Jack prayed over this dilemma, knowing that this was where the yurt should stand, but not wishing to sacrifice the trees. After praying with the land, Jack handed the decision of where to place the yurt to a higher power. He returned to the house and let go of the question for that night.

The next morning, when Jack returned to that spot, you can imagine how stunned he was to discover that the two trees had fallen of their own accord during the night. One tree had collapsed onto the other, splitting it in two. The 700 square foot meditation center stands on this very spot today.
